this was without a doubt the most hilarious movie experience of my entire life because i sat in this movie theatre with 6 other people, all flying solo, sitting at least 10 seats and 4 rows apart, all respecting the fact that we were uni students dedicating our thursday night to seeing a montage of 7 kpop idols doing their thing while we quietly sat munching on our popcorn without making a sound for every single fucking scene in the movie until fucking yeontan appeared and we all collectively burst into the loudest sound of cooing i have ever heard.

I LOVE BTS TO AND UNTIL DEATH and for them i spent 2 hours in a packed theatre with screaming preteens who said shit like saranghae oppa and made finger hearts and heart shapes over their heads. i felt like a jaded middle aged woman surrounded by the daughters she never really learned to love. that being said, 💜 saranghae bts oppas 💜

namjoon said at the end “if you ask what BTS is, it’s too complicated to answer.” and he’s completely right. they’re so much more than a band, more than kpop, they’re so hardworking and the things they do have saved and inspired so many people in so many ways and i’m one of those people. not a day goes by where i’m not grateful for having them in my life.

I know this is basically an edited down version of the 8 episode YouTube series but this doc provides very little insight into BTS as artists. The whole doc is basically shots of them performing and traveling with voice overs talking about deserts and oceans and the struggle lol. Still a beautiful doc to watch and the boys are of course excellent performers, but we get very little of the personalities that make fans fall in love with the group. I don’t regret watching but I’d rather watch a live, BTS run, or In the Soop to get my BTS fix.

Cuando recién la vi, me angustiaba ver como lo daban todo en el escenario y eso les costaba su salud tanto física como mental. Verla de nuevo después años que salió realmente me alegra ver que con este nuevo tour puedan ser más libres de decidir si bailan todas las canciones porque sientan que es una obligación o porque quieren hacerlo y dar un buen show a army, el hecho de que tengan la oportunidad de descansar para volver y terminar el resto de la gira me tranquiliza. Todo lo que han logrado hasta ahora lo merecen. 💜

rewatched on the way to borahaegas!! BTS I AM IN YOU!! also something is so deeply iconic that the 2017 bbmas were in vegas exactly 9yrs ago (+1 day) and now theyre back for 4 sold out shows.. oh bts no ones doing it like you

Andaba viendo videos de mis tiempos de BTS, ya 10 y 11 años de esos momentos, fue bonito el recordarme llegar de primaria y ver los MVS recién salían. Me entró nostalgia y me acordé de cuando vi este documental en el cine a las 11 pm con mi mamá y hermana. Sufría de bullying, pero también fue la etapa más linda pq si, BTS era y es mi refugio, tengo mayormente lindos recuerdos. YOONGI TE AMO MUCHO me duele no poder ir a verte a CDMX
