I debated between a 3.5 or a 4 for this but it’s kind of staring me right in the face that this is some of the most fun I’ve had at the theater this year and some of my favorite direction of the year. We are in a really exciting era of action filmmaking where Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah can come out of the woodwork and execute an Olympic level baton handoff from Bay, staying true to the style he established for this franchise while gleefully displaying their own arsenal of tricks (a despairing era too though, seeing that their Batgirl movie will never see the light of day). KEEP CAPTAIN HOWARDS NAME OUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH Kinda like if George Miller’s son grew up in Broward What a fucking blast. These directors got some SAUCE. There’s some action sequences here that I genuinely was floored by, vfx that was used perfectly to enhance a scene, and camerawork that would make anybody giddy meanders here and there but when the directors are allowed to go batshit they really go batshit David Zaslav should be hung for many things but he should especially die for scrapping the Batgirl movie

А еще тут оказывается (я видимо забыл при первом просмотре) — Рэй Сихорн — она играла Ким в Лучше звоните Солу, а я ооочень люблю этот сериал, поэтому за этого персонажа – респект.

Loud, glossy and occasionally fun, yet the action is so overcooked that even the emotional moments feel like they were added by committee. reggie’s comeback from being threatened at the door in bad boys 2 to actually becoming a bad boy in this one. his scene in the house was a scene stealer it was so iconic, with marcus watching and the salute at the end. probably one of my favourite movie scenes ever.

*HEAVILY SIGHS WITH ANGER* I hate how the first ten minutes of films today is a commercial for the IP rather than exciting hooks and authentic story telling. Again, redeemable moments but image to image was all over the place and overstimulating. Unless I’m doing a marathon, I’m gonna stick to watching 1 and 2 consistently. These are unfortunately forgettable. However, bringing up Reggie and Armando are part of the films strengths.

Watching this made me realize that bad boys II is the worst one, the first half might have been not the best but it improves over time, I almost gave this just 4 stars but then I see how much improvement it goes through, it’s what happens when Michael bay isn’t the director, Adil and Bilall know what they are doing. Adil e Bilall filmam tiroteio como quem descobriu a câmera ontem, e eu digo isso como elogio: aquela coisa de drone entrando pela janela e girando junto com a arma é a brincadeira mais divertida que o cinema de ação americano fez recentemente. Will Smith e Martin Lawrence continuam se implicando com timing de quem se conhece há trinta anos, e o filme sabe que é disso que a gente quer. É exatamente o que Fast X não conseguiu: barulho com peso, gente que ainda pode se machucar.

Ein typischer verzweifelter Versuch ein olles Franchise wieder aufzukochen. Alles in der typischen Bruckheimer Bildsprache, aber immerhin technisch hochwertig. Eine nette Überraschung war für mich, dass Rhea mit dabei ist. Sonst hätte ich eventuell früher abgeschaltet. Das ist dann aber eine sehr undankbare Rolle für sie, weit unter ihrem Niveau. Immerhin ist ihnen gelungen, Pentoliano wieder unterzubringen, auch wenn der ziemlich lustlos wirkt. Wenn Willi Schmidt dabei ist, dürfen DaddyIssues ja nicht fehlen… Insgesamt ist das alles zu unoriginell und generisch um mehr als Durchschnitt zu sein. Dann kommt aber noch der dumme Showdown… 2,3 Sterne.

Better than the last one I think coz at least it’s directed in a more stylised and interesting way. I daren’t say it’s good direction but it certainly stands out more than the last one. Still not a great movie tho, just really struggle to care about these characters or the story for the most part. There was an ok gag I’m pretty sure towards the end but I’ve forgotten it now. Martin Lawrence’s face is very sweaty and very expressive, it doesn’t really lead to comedy but it’s the closest thing that does.

I was looking forward to this movie since I was told that out of all the Bad Boys movies, I would like this one the most and surprisingly to me, I did like fourth movie the best! The movie looked great and the camerawork was so fun and interesting. The story was also pretty interesting as it tied stuff from the previous movies into this one. I also liked how Mike and Marcus worked as a duo but they also worked with others as well. All in all, I had a great time with the movie and I would watch it again!

I really loved this. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence still have that perfect chemistry and it’s honestly so nice seeing them together again. The action is wild and the film has some really creative camera work that makes the set pieces even more fun. It has everything I love about the Bad Boys films: ridiculous humour, great action and a lot of heart. A really fun comeback for these characters.

I’m left with feeling a bit bored with the buddy cop comedy not being funny. I like the direction we went plot wise with the characters but yeah. Probably the weakest Bad Boys movie. The end scene was too over the top
