I almost turned this off like 5 times. Finally made it to the end and I’m still not sure it was worth my time. It wasn’t awful but the story was just kinda meh. Aside from Nicole lapping up milk from a dish, pretty standard affair flick.

Liked this so much more than I thought I would, but the ending didn’t suit,, there was so much tension and nowhere to put it. It wrote off all consequences and didn’t satisfy. Other than that though – quite good I must admit.

“i’m not afraid of you, whatever the fuck you’re capable of. of what you know, of what you don’t know. i don’t give a shit. just don’t ever talk to me like that again. if i want to be humiliated, i’m gonna pay someone to do it. now get the fuck out of my office.” a nicole kidman me faz duvidar da minha sexualidade. que mulher escultural pqp!! como um jeber sábio já tweetou: “é de suma importância que vocês…

I gotta say, having an affair seems like a lot of trouble and I want no part of that. I think the most important line of this is “I didn’t tell you who I was and then got mad at you for not knowing me.” That really is the key to this and lots of relationships. Anyway, Romy sucks hard and doesn’t deserve her husband to forgive her. But I like that this movie doesn’t really give us that fake happy ending since we know she’s still thinking about Samuel.

So disappointing. Could be so much more. so thoroughly unexplored when it comes to every character besides Romy, and Samuel. Lacking in its eroticism. I’m much more interested in the ideas placed at the beginning; in the feelings of how sex today is manufactured no different than a product. A scene of a woman masturbating after sex because of her husband being unable to please her, and then showing a factory immediately after. I like the songs they used for…

remember when everyone was acting like this was groundbreaking eroticism LOLLLL I am judging the fuck out of yalll HAHHAHA how can a film about sex and “to be at stake” be so sexless and sterile I read fanfic when I was 14 that was more thrilling than this straight women need help
