Rewatching the “American Pie” franchise was an experience. These films means so much to me. The first film was extremely formative and had a profound effect on me, early on in my youth. They are raunchy but they are innocent and have so much heart and care. The films aren’t really gratuitous (okay maybe sometimes) but instead, truly relatable. The characters make the films what they are. It has come to the point where we don’t go to watch these films for the outrageous humour but merely just watch these characters interact. All the actors bring their A game. It sounds strange but I wouldn’t be the same person without these movies. They taught me about love, life and friendship. These films will always have an extremely special place in my heart and I can’t thank the makers enough. “To the next step.”

In today’s world Stifler would be a kick streamer. Faze lacy Kevin got maybe 6 minutes of screentime the whole franchise

Whilst these movies are stupid as hell, I’ve always appreciated the camaraderie and brotherhood between these friends. Their friendship feels genuine and palpable. Obviously most of the comedy is pretty outdated mostly thanks to Stifler pretty much just harassing women nonstop but I don’t know, I’ve always found something to enjoy with these movies.

At least it’s good to see older characters come to together. Honestly mid. 5/10

Stifler ❤ But seriously these movies are like visiting your old pervy friends and we need a 20 year reunion. Thankfully Oz is back and even dances for us, and Eugene Levy is still precious as ever. Also much funnier than I remembered. Mostly thanks to the Stifmiester. Also geez I guess LMFAO is old now 😭

Explain how this came out a decade after, but it’s still the most dated of the entire series.

Despite being a completely different writing team, it nails the stuff that made the first two so enjoyable – the sense of a specific time and place in your life and all the celebrations and insecurities that go along with it. It centres Jim and Stifler (but know exactly how to use the latter, unlike Wedding) but makes really good use of the ensemble, making sure everyone has something to do. The friendship between the four main guys has always…

QUE ELENCO BOM! acho esse um pouco menos engraçado do que os outros filmes originais, mas ainda assim ri bastante. Stifler nunca vai deixar de ser o goat. foram geniais com esse final dele com a mãe do Finch!!!!!!

Brilliant way to end the saga

I only really “needed” one of these movies. 3 more seems like a bit much. But if you like all the others, this one is the same.

Some Bizarre story choices and kinda flat for lots of it but that Gilbert Gottfried joke popped me big time. Jon Cho head and shoulders above everyone

These mofos act like they can’t think for themselves and blame the Stifmeister! But he is to blame for some things ☝🏼 Very funny and seemed as though it focused well on the entire cast this time, compared to Wedding I wish there’s another one, but i know it has to end at some point

La mejor forma de acabar la saga, me partí de risa y siempre es genial ver de nuevo al grupo de amigos

Why is Jim’s dad keeping Jim’s old porn magazines as a memento of the old days is strangely beautiful?!

Amazing endings for all of the main line characters. Great character work and the humor has evolved and matured perfectly with the films. Yet another great Rom-Com. Loved all the little call backs while still inventing new gags to laugh about. Loved every second of it

Great way to end the series. Loved how much more screen time Jim’s dad got and also how all the actors played roles that haven’t been played for nearly 10 years so well.

I can’t believe the Blu-Ray version of this film had the balls to ask if I was sure I wanted to watch the unrated cut. Sure, American Pie: Reunion is a pretty safe bet in its execution. Sure, it hits the beats it aims for, chooses to forget elements of previous films (like Michelle’s sister and Stifler getting together) whilst making note of how Oz missed the wedding. It catches a lot of the similar aspects to Wedding, with its look…

American Reunion feels like opening an old shoebox in the attic and discovering that the contents smell exactly the same as you remember slightly dusty, vaguely nostalgic, and probably carrying the faint aroma of several terrible decisions. It’s less a sequel than a reunion with adolescence itself. The characters have grown older, collected mortgages, marriages, children and responsibilities, but underneath the adult packaging are the same idiots who once believed that every problem could be solved with beer, sex and…
- Synopsis
- The characters we met a little more than a decade ago return to East Great Falls for their high school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t, and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship.
