Jeez, talk about a straight nostalgia hit to the vein. Blink 182, Sum 41, Alien Ant Farm, Wheatus. For a period of about five/six years, we had bands who could barely play their own instruments, but despite their lack of technical skills, they sure made up for it with unadulterated fun. They never took themselves seriously, and they always had a good time. Nowadays, it’s either insert >generic singer< that sings to a beat or uninspired rap. The late nineties/early two thousands had a pretty chill vibe until that dumbfuck in a cave had to screw everything up. Out goes the laid back attitude and in comes the patriot act, terror, government spying, and torture that's still ongoing to this…

Funnier than I remember it being, and soo nostalgic. It’s been 20 years, and idc I still love Stifler lol. Eugene Levy is such a wholesome movie dad 💖 And can we please bring back the band camp man short shorts?!

I love that Stifler is a sociopathic asshole with insane sexual urges and downright evil tendencies that might be caused by the extremely slapstick torture methods that he must endure through his most developmental stages pushing him to repeat the cycle of abuse through the world even through devilish little spawns not of his seed but directed influence.

Mena suvari look good with any hair colour she is so pretty. Her hair this movie looked like Velma (I think that’s her name) “The force is strong in that one” This movie doesn’t completely suck, I loved Jim realising he loved Michelle “You suck ret*rd!” “I’m not ret*rded, I’m a very special boy.”

Improvement on the first movie. Still some horrendously aged stuff but this felt a much more complete coming of age movie.

It is just perfectly alright Pretty natural progression from the first No groundbreaking bits They revisit old material quite a bit But they’re all so freakin cute And I like Jim’s ending Chris Klein makes me like wanna gnaw my own skin off He’s so fucking cute Like Jesus How did they know Eugene Levy was going to be the perfect guy for this part in these movies That must be like Written in the stars of the universe somehow

the musical sequences in this are INCREDIBLE. the “potential lesbians” strutting down the street to weezer’s hash pipe. jim supergluing his dick to his hand to alien ant farm’s smooth criminal. absolute cinema here. outside of that, certainly a little more heartfelt than the original, and way funnier, but didn’t click with me much more. + 1/2 star for jim and stifler making out 💗💗💗💗💗

Really fun sequel, and I like the bond of the friends and they don’t just abandon each other when something is wrong. You don’t really see that too often, especially in media with male friend groups and especially in films from the 90s-2000s

Sometimes I wonder where my taste in music come from and then I’m reminded about the media I consumed at an early age, something about these early 2000’s soundtracks just scratches something in my brain and makes me reminisce of simpler days.

“This is it. This is my summer of love.” American Pie 2 (2001) is a fun, raunchy, and surprisingly heartfelt follow-up that captures much of what made the original American Pie work while leaning even harder into the outrageous comedy. It’s a sequel that understands exactly what made its predecessor so enjoyable and manages to build upon it without losing its personality. It may be even raunchier and more ridiculous than the original, but underneath all the outrageous humor is…

choir couple sucked me into watching the next one and they were in it for like 10 min max . However I did find this movie more enjoyable than the last and I realised why, many of the jokes in the first one centred on the women and sexualising them as the punchline obviously they were still sexualised in this movie but the punchline was an actual joke or centred on the boys (who the movie is actually about).

Pie slice number 2: Unrated version Jokes are funnier, the boys go out of their way to try and see some lesbian action, and too be honest, we would all try that. I think this version has more dirty dialogue being the unrated version. And Stifler getting peed on😂. The cold open is pretty funny too “OH MY GOD THEY’RE FUCKING” “I didn’t get the name of your daughter, but hopefully my son did” And love that Jim is an…

Many films, even films within subgenres of genres that were successful at the time, can date themselves in many ways, even in jokes. And yet, the infamous superglue scene is still hilarious and utterly painful at the same time.

Free flowing and raunchy with heart. Plot is more developed than the first, as it should be. there’s sort of ‘last gasp’ feel the film, that maybe we don’t have all the time in the world and that people are changing/developing in new or surprising ways. My favorite part are the ‘beer nods’ at the end, where it’s obvious they achieved their goal for the summer but more importantly, instinctually, they recognize this is exactly where they are suppose to be as young people. We are here, living entirely in this moment.
