2001: A Space Odyssey Accepted – long and boring – short and hilarious – has zero Green Day – features the hit songs single Holiday – boring lead – unique lead named named Dave …

You know why this gets 5 stars? It’s because college is hard, no one knows what they wanna do, and we need to keep our eyes open and experience the world THE WAY WE WANT TO. Short review because you just gotta watch it and smile.

This is not a great film. Heck, it isn’t always even a good film. But it really did turn my frown upside down. I was having a couple of lousy days and watched this to not think of how life was treating me. While it wasn’t always great, it has heart, and it had 3 or 4 moments that had me laughing so hard I was almost crying. Now I just finished watching it, I feel so much better and happier, like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Sometimes having no expectations and just giving a comedy a chance is enough to turn that frown “upside down”. 🙂

This is just hilarious and wholesome at the same time. Realizing that there are actually people who couldn’t get into college and are often underestimated has broadened my perspective as a living. The way B gave his speech in court was truly inspiring and heartwarming. This movie might be one of my comfort movie

Was so in the mood for this movie, or just this vibe in general, but this and every other option I could think of needed to be rented or bought. But I was itching BAHD so I caved and rented it. Gotta say, I don’t regret it. Scratched the itch. Silly concept. Ridiculous characters. In my opinion, peak Jonah Hill. Just a good turn off your brain movie. Gonna start mixing in a lot more of these kinds of movies.…

The type of movie Homer Simpson would love. Stupid gags flat and rudimentary characters. Fun moments but really predictable. Evil dean. Bad dialogue. Hopeful and positive at least.

u know what?? fuck letterbox this movie is awesome, the scene in court was the best I swear, this should happen in the real world because there are so many possibilities, while in college many people bury their creativity they throw away their freedom of choice, maybe their S.H.I.T is not eligible for accreditation but they say yes to their dreams they say yes to their hopes it FUCKING COOL WHAT I’VE EVER SEEN, n B ur a genius fucking…

20th anniversary rewatch! It’s a mid-2000s stuido comedy through and through, but its aged fairly well (while still being so aggressively 2006 that it’s charming) and still an enjoyable watch all these years later. The cast is great and used to perfection: Justin Long will always be the best lovable slaker who’s smarts are only outweighed by his laziness, Jonah Hill being angry and desperate will never fail to crack me up, and Lewis Black going on his rants will…

“Ask me about my wiener!”-Released 20 years ago today, ‘Accepted’ is a film I loved watching so much as a teen, and I remember buying it on bootleg DVD to watch it the first time. I played the fuck out of that bootleg before eventually buying a real copy when the DVD dropped. This is an insane but fun film that you have to suspend your belief on because the plot is pretty far fetched. I still have a fun…

Yeah, I minored in film just so I could take a screen writing class. It turns out you could only take screen writing if you were majoring. In hindsight I should’ve minored in creative writing instead.

Society has rules. And the first rule is you go to college. You want to have a happy and successful life? You go to college. If you want to be somebody, you go to college. If you want to fit in you go to college.
