it’s getting pretty hard to suspend disbelief when there have been two films about quiet places and somehow not one character has even suggested living in the library

someone walked into the movie theatre, took a singular picture of cillian murphy with the flash on, and then left

I relate to the creatures in A Quiet Place because I too want everyone to shut the fuck up.

so you’re telling me that in this doleful, dystopic world, one of their primary forms of salvageable, non-perishable food is canned beans and no one in this family is farting on impact? not to mention miss emily postpartum poppins simply must to be letting those queefs out. and cillian murphy? i know that man sharts . can’t really be that quiet of a place

The action-packed prequel intro kicks a whole lot of ass, conjuring War Of The Worlds energy, but soon calms down to a much slower pace than its predecessor. While this movie is good and directly furthers the story and family dynamic of the first film, it’s lacking the terror and isn’t nearly as suspenseful. They incorporate some interesting tricks to fight the monsters better in this one, but when they encounter a skeevy group of survivalists, it starts to feel…

I again thought this film was absolutely phenomenal, and I’m very very glad it stayed true to the first and picked up immediately after. They spent much more time with Reagan (the deaf girl) in part 2, and I’m a big fan of that. I think her character is extremely interesting and equally as fitting for the world, considering she’s lived the majority if not the entirety of her life in auditory and verbal silence, and has had to adapt…

Great film well made. But there’s kind of two plots in parallel. One is important, makes sense and we’re invested. The other we didn’t really need. It was just opportunity for more lary fights with aliens

Imagine welcoming strangers from the apocalypse to your island oasis just to have their irresponsible asses allow a giant murderous alien to drift there in a boat and kill everyone

This film was originally a 4.5, but after rewatching it in pain, I have to say it’s a 4. To me, it meant a lot to see it in theaters and it was very well written, but I just can’t see it higher than a 4.

Eu tenho um fetiche forte com cenas iniciais do mundo se acabando. P.S.: na versão dublada toca “numa ilha” naquele radinho, estragando todo o momento de grande revelação da mini-diva surda

felt like the mid season filler episodes of something like twd. the worst type of second film in a trilogy and will remain pointless until the next instalment comes out

The only movie that is closeee to make me feel the thrill of The Last Of Us.

I watched this in the cinemas in 4DX and it was the best movie experience I’ve ever had, if there’s ever a horror/thriller movie on in 4DX at the cinemas I recommend to go see it because it such a fun experience (unless you have heart problems, then I’d skip it). I think in terms of the actual movie, it was still a great story and sequel with thrilling action but the first one is better in my opinion.

8.5/10 The beginning sequence showing day 1 is awesome! I love how you get to the the aliens so much more on this one. One of those rare moments when IMO the second one is better than the first. Great continuation to the first film very suspenseful movie. Can’t wait for another one.
