Must a movie be good? Is Adam Driver wearing a flower in his hair not enough?

We used to get movies like this all the time, absolute nothing 90 minute schlock that’s out your mind as soon as you leave, it’s what we need, healthy industry needs it’s disposable stuff that doesn’t wanna be anything more than a $2 JB-HI-FI bin purchase. The movies are healing.

Film assez oubliable Les personnages sont pas très attachants, la relation entre les deux protagonistes est assez artificiel Mise en scène peu inventive

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods’ 65 coasts on a brilliantly simple premise, Adam Driver fighting dinosaurs, but ultimately delivers a thoroughly average, if reasonably entertaining, survival thriller. Driver gives a typically committed, physical performance, elevating the thin material as he trudges through prehistoric Earth trying to protect his young companion (Ariana Greenblatt). The creature designs and atmospheric visuals are genuinely solid, offering a handful of decent jump scares and solid action beats. However, the film struggles to build meaningful tension…

Smart to name a movie 65 so it shows up first on streaming services when you search movies A-Z lol. Like Driver as an actor and interesting concept with the only humans on earth right before asteroid impact, knew what was happening the whole time and the eventual climax with the Trex. Still enjoyed tho

Don’t expect Adam Driver to rescue this one. Think of all the things you could do with 90 minutes of free time and pick one.

Continuing my mini marathon of dinosaur movies, I watched “65” (2023). In this film, Adam Driver plays Mille, an astronaut pilot who crash-lands on prehistoric Earth. He and a young girl named Koa (Ariana Greenblatt) as they fight dinosaurs to reach an escape ship. This movie was basically a Jurassic Park movie, but in outer space. Personally, I thought it was fun if predictable down to the added extension level asteroid hurtling towards them. But I thought the dinosaurs were…
