Dont know how i didnt get to see this as a child, practically everyone has seen it and is basically a staple on the internet. Finally decided to watch it and I get the hype. Its super unique, i mean you dont hear this kinda plot everyday. The characters are all likeable and very well fleshed out, the humor is great but you can tell this was made in the 2000s sometimes. Good stuff.

Maybe one of the scariest films I’ve ever seen. It’s honestly so scary. And there are no cute animals? I guess that’s the second movie and im remembering incorrectly. I’m so disturbed and terrified. Wouldn’t recommend. It has an important message but as someone who is very scared of overconsumption I am unhappy. This was ahead of its time, though. This message is so unbelievably relevant now and this came out in 2009. But I will be having nightmares tonight. Be warned. This is like Wall-E levels of scary. But my preschool art teacher wrote the book. So.

Peak. Maybe my favorite movie as a kid, and it’s still really entertaining, and makes me laugh every time. The animation is pretty awesome too. Lots of great messages throughout while not taking itself too seriously. So many baller characters – Baby Brent, Steve, Mr. Lockwood, Officer Earl. Voice cast bangs too. Amo o quanto o nosso protagonista inventor (Flint) é nerd e, dps, descobrimos que a repórter loira (Sam) tbm é (ela só escondia esse traço de personalidade dela), mas os dois têm coisas em comum! AMO quando eles se beijam de bochecha inflada kkkk! AMO a relação pai e filho que vai amadurecendo durante o filme! AMO o policial levantando o barco com de torrada e pizza pra salvar a sua família! Tenía muchísimo tiempo sin verla y qué bonito fue volver a encontrarme con esta película. La idea me sigue pareciendo maravillosa y la animación tmb lo es. Es sensible, graciosa y tiene tantos momentos que ya son básicamente memes. Pero lo que más me gustó fue ver a Flint pasar de ser “el loco” del pueblo a que finalmente todos entendieran su imaginación y lo que era capaz de hacer. Y cuando su papá le dice que está orgulloso de él… 😭 Una película que recordaba como divertida y que terminó siendo mucho más bonita y sensible de lo que parecía.
