Unwatchable garbage and I genuinely think Disney should be embarrassed that 100 million went into some of the worst set pieces, CGI, and fight scenes I’ve ever seen. Dry and severely lacking story. How anyone could possibly be enjoying this is beyond my comprehension.

Happy May the 4th everyone, now felt like a better time than any to give this another review, and hopefully soon enough I’ll be doing re-reviews of Kenobi and Andor as well so I hope you enjoy. On rewatch, my score remains about the same. I wouldn’t say that it was as bad as other people were saying because there are parts that I find enjoyable. The Book of Boba Fett starts off promising, but somewhere along the way it seems to forget whose story this is supposed to be. Before long, Boba Fett feels like a supporting character in his own series, while The Mandalorian and Grogu once again take centre stage. What should have been a proper character-driven spin-off ends up feeling like another detour in the larger Star Wars universe, capped off by a simplistic and forced finale. It isn’t just a missed opportunity, it feels like a show that lost interest in its own protagonist.

This show confirmed Max Rebo survived the events of ROTJ. I felt genuine happiness seeing that stupid blue puppet pop up on screen. I felt more real joy seeing a rubber elephant show up for 3 seconds, than I did when I graduated college. Thats how I know I’m a chud.

J’étais pas au courant qu’on pouvait noter des séries, mais pas grave. C’est l’une des pires séries de l’univers Star Wars. Le concept de base était, ma foi, plutôt attirant, mais le résultat est horrible. C’est tellement horrible que j’ai regardé un épisode entier, et c’est tout. Le reste des épisodes, je les ai à peine vus. C’était une purge. Le seul truc à peu près intéressant, c’est quand ça devient un spin-off de The Mandalorian. Character assassination. How the writers could get Boba Fett this wrong has baffled me for however long this slop had been out. honestly, this one left me feeling pretty deflated. Boba Fett was always this silent, terrifying legend, so watching him sit in a water tank doing local neighborhood politics felt incredibly underwhelming. the spark only comes back when Mando completely hijacks the show, making you realize how much the main plot fumbled the character’s legacy.

It’s really not a problem. It hasn’t afflicted me that much. However, knowing that there’s live-action Star Wars stuff out there that I, just… haven’t seen… is odd to me. Feels like a paradigm.
