75 Impeccable stoner vibes on a major studio scale. Cinema was different before the towers fell. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back ends with a Morris Day and The Time dance party, and basically the entire run-time before that is packed with goofball cameos and wacky antics from our favorite View Askew duo. This is better than a majority of other Kevin Smith films in a few key ways. For one, it actually isn’t an eyesore to look at. It’s been difficult re-watching Kevin Smith movies, mainly because he struggles to make anything look competent. Thankfully, this one doesn’t actively make my eyeballs hurt. Also, the pacing is perfect for a cross-country adventure premise. It moves at a steady clip…

“Hey baby! You ever have your asshole licked by a fat man in an overcoat??? Yyyeeaaahhhhh.” This may be the most romantic pick up line ever in a movie.

A metatextual phantasmagoria of Hollywood self-loathing. Kevin Smith’s New Nightmare. Would absolutely watch Good Will Hunting 2: Hunting Season.

Bluntman and Chronic is the worst comic I’ve ever read. Jay and Silent Bob are stupid characters. A couple of stoners who spout dumbass catchphrases like a third rate Cheech and Chong or Bill and Ted. Fuck Jay and Silent Bob. Fuck them up their stupid asses.

“Look at these morose motherfuckers right here…” God damn, I love this fucking movie. I know I may be alone on that statement but let me explain… For one thing, it crosses over all of the characters from Kevin Smith’s Jersey Trilogy so it’s awesome to see all of my favorites like Banky, Brodie, Dante (he’s not even supposed to be here today) and Hooper X all in one place. You’ve got to see all Smith’s New Jersey films to appreciate this film, but it’s still enjoyable. This was the first New Jersey film I ever saw growing up and it still manages to be funny as fuck time and time again. It’s got one of the most awesome casts…

Note entirely my jam. But the 4th wall breaks were funny. The good will hunting two scene was hilarious (also to add to my Matt Damon stats.) was not expecting that Wes Craven jump scare WTF. Also lovely to see the legend Carrie. Thanks pookie Alex for lending me your DVD 🫶🏻 Knew I knew the security guards voice

🌿🦧2nd Viewing💎🎬 🎂25th Anniversary (8/24)🎂 I feel like comedies usually are worse on second viewing and usually age worse with time. But not with this masterpiece. If anything after the genre of comedy being dormant because of the state of the society and Hollywood, it makes me appreciate this a million times more. This is a treasure of a film. A masterpiece of ridiculousness. It’s half parody half absurdist adventure. It’s the best (if not on the Mount Rushmore ) of…

Finally I understand their cameo in Scream 3! Honestly I had a great time with this, it’s one of the most stupid things I’ve ever seen but I think I just really vibe with it. I can’t imagine watching this without seeing his other films first though, half the fun was just seeing how all the previous characters got shoehorned in

It’s so bad, I counted almost 5 straight winks to the camera… yet that early 2000s middle school boy humor is freeing and so watchable. The cameo fest becomes a fun conveyor belt of “who wants to play next?” and that’s half the charm.
