Benzeri çok fazla film izlememden kaynaklı olsa gerek benim için sıkıcıydı. Hakkı 3 yıldız aslında ama yok yani dakika sayarak geçti filmin yarısı. Klasik, bir şey bir aileye musallat oluyor tam olarak ne olduğunu çözene kadar zaten bir saat geçiyor. Sonra mantık dışı yöntemler buluyorlar ama inanmıyorlar. Sonra ikna oluyorlar ve mantık dışı yöntemleri kullanmaya karar veriyorlar ve film bitiyor. Bu tarz filmlere artık Conjuringlike demek istiyorum. Conjuring bu işin ilki değil biliyorum ama bu kadar çok bu tarz filmin ortaya çıkmasına o sebep oldu gibi geliyor, bu film Conjuring’den önce çıktı, insidiouslike da denebilir artık bilemiyorum, tek bildiğim bu formül beni cezbetmiyor.

Back in the 2010s this was way better and I have always liked Insidious franchise to some extent but there’s so much stuff in this film I just don’t like. I love the storyline but otherwise it’s goofy as hell.

I thought this movie had a solid concept. My favorite scene of all is when they had Elise interact with Dalton. Some shots genuinely made it look like a Quentin Tarantino movie and I love that. Some of the entities/ghosts looked cool too imo, especially the one with the red face. I got really bored with most parts of the movie though. I’m just trying to watch every single Insidious movie so I can be prepared with the new one.

Rewatched this again after such a long time, and I still rate it 4.5/5! It’s a fast-paced movie with a solid story build-up. The suspense was really well done, and the jump scares still hit. I also really liked the ending. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the movies in the franchise!

Creepy kid does creepy things in creepy settings. I liked that the first instinct was to move house because that’s exactly what I would’ve done. I was certainly spooked at times but was actually surprised at how scary this film wasn’t but that didn’t take away from the enjoyment. Also feel like there’s some pop culture stuff in here I now understand, so always bonus points for that. Building up to the new one in the cinemas which, from what I’ve heard, is going to be a complete blast (terrible watch)

Had a great time with this one. The jumpscares were really good, and the first half was super engaging. atmosphere, vibes, and tension all worked perfectly for me. But once they started revealing the mystery, everything became a lot more predictable. The devil reveal felt unnecessary, and that cheesy CGI chase wasn’t great either. Still, the ending was pretty solid and overall I really enjoyed it.

Not all that remarkable or memorable, but pretty damn creepy all things considered. James Wan needs to stay in the horror genre because this is his sweet spot. His movies generally have above average production values, but his signature has always been and will always be making scary movies with good setups and execution. No more of this superhero action BS, leave the Further and come back to us, Jimmy.

The editing and the script was really bad 😂 after thinking about it tho it is probably scary for the time it came out, i’m late to the party i guess, kinda disappointed that none of the jump scares got me at all though, it was all very easy to anticipate.

I have a friend that loves this franchise, and I watched the first one and remembered liking it enough, so I figured with the new one coming out I would watch them all just to have something to talk about with them. Now, I saw the first one way back when it came out, but I didn’t remember much, so I decided to rewatch first. I do like seeing the ghost world. The demon got a little hokey looking during that chase scene (especially when it crawled on the walls). Solid ending.

Why was the first half of this film scarier than the second half? This is my first time watching Insidious and it was…uhh…something alright. I thought the atmosphere and the tension of the ghost stuff was pretty cool, and that sound design was flawless. But this movie loses me with this story. It just feels…all over the place. Le perdono un montón de cosas porque es del 2010 (los jumpscares, que el padre no le crea a la madre, que se muden de casa), de igual forma, lo del padre aquí es por su arco de personaje, tiene sentido. Me gustó más de lo que esperaba, y agradezco la escena de la séance, ya que en este tipo de películas no suele haberlas de este modo a menos que sea un chiste (con una ouija) o más bien un exorcismo. Btw, no sabía que Elise moría en su primera aparición, crei que la saga era en orden progresivo.

La primera vez que la vi sí me asustó bastante, y creo que todavía funciona muy bien como película de terror. Me gusta mucho la atmósfera que crea James Wan y cómo juega con los sonidos y los sustos sin tener que mostrar demasiado. Además, la idea de The Further me parece bastante original. Y aunque el final me pareció un poco raro, sí fue algo que no me esperaba y creo que funciona bien para cerrar la película. Tiene sus detalles, pero sigue siendo una de las mejores de la saga.
