This movie is iconic and will never get old. It’s funny, sweet, and a tiny bit heartbreaking all at once. A father who will do anything for his children vs a mother who only ever throws his mistakes back at him while ignoring all of the love and care he pours out at any given opportunity.

Such a comfort film for me it is undeniably one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen in my life. At some points I was laughing so hard my face was genuinely hurting a side effect from watching one of the greatest comedic actors of all time do his magic cause that’s what it is when he’s on screen it’s just magic it’s like to me a warm hug. This movie is by far one of the easiest watches for…

Fun fact about this movie: when Robin Williams first put the Mrs. Doubtfire outfit on, the first thing he did was visit a sex shop and asked the guy at the counter about the biggest dildos they had.

Absurd, fun movie. Incredible performances across the board! Robin Williams’ comedic genius made it charming rather than creepy.

Una obra de arte más de Robin Williams; pero a la vez es una peli más donde para que el hombre sepa q quiere y que tiene q hacer sin ser un ignorante, tiene q perder al amor de su vida para abrir los ojos. Q necesidad de que sea así

Was so cute. A father that genuinely loves his kids? What a gem! It was a bit creepy going to the lengths that he did but I can definitely empathize with how he must have felt. Also, the voice acting was AMAZING. RIP Robin Williams 🕊️

I remember when I was around seven or so, I went to somebody’s house, and they had a box teeming with DVDs lying in the living room. One of these movies was Mrs. Doubtfire. Intrigued, I asked what the movie was about. The person grabbed it from the collection and inserted it into the player. Seven year old me must have thought it was the funniest movie in the history of cinema because not long after, I begged my parents…

When I was little I watched this movie at least a million times. I really really loved it but I was never really sure why. I now realize it’s because I really connect to it. When I was in 3rd grade I had just started in a new school, and this particular school included going on sundays as well. Sundays was the day of the week that I would spend with my dad. Because of this I lied to my…

Considering Daniel a hear me out is one thing but saying you wouldn’t mind in regard to Mrs. Doubtfire is something else, man. I just know if she was my nanny, I’d develop a bit of a crush on her but then that’d eventually be super fucking awkward if she turned out to be my dad in disguise. Justice for Stu. He literally did nothing but be a caring sweetheart. Sexy af too. Hit me up. The restaurant climax scene…

Loved this movie. Watched half of it at some old dudes house. It was very funny but a very mature kids movie. I’m glad the mom boyfriend wasn’t evil as hell. He was nice to the mom and her kids. He even thanks the bloke who saved his life. The ending was very good and left the door open for the characters in the movie making it more applicable to real world relationships.

I was in a band. Severe Tire Damage.

T
Robin Williams in drag. And that is all there really to this. I think the jokes and set pieces are of a predictable nature. The movie is entirely too long. And I don’t think any of the supporting characters are remotely interesting. I think a lot of this movie is just picking low hanging fruit. Overly sentimental and too content to make easy points about raising children through divorce. Just as much a façade as the Doubtfire persona.

I saw this movie in theaters the summer my parents split up – it was therapeutic then and still is today. Everyone is so young in this movie! Robin Williams was such a unique soul. Only Jim Carrey comes close to the same insane chaos that he delivered. So many funny moments, but the Looney Tunes-esque intro was fantastic.
