It’s fascinating to see the start of a franchise like this. While I don’t think this is the best movie, it’s still a phenomenal movie. The cinematography of this film and how the camera moves when it’s trying to go crazy and when it’s trying to have a still and subtle moment really stands out to me. Overall a fun watch! Rewatching within 2 months of first seeing this? Fuck it, we ball. Painful to watch from a procedural standpoint (seriously, do not watch when you’re in the middle of a forensics internship) and I’m still unsure how I feel about this series’s tendency to exposition dump out of nowhere.
