This is my Black Panther. This movie empowered me. It helped me get over my rejection from the female known as Liz who’d rather date a Chad named Jon instead of a true gentlemen who would treat her well like myself. Truly amazing cinematography and a great performance from Bill Murray, who has fortunately moved on from artsy-fartsy hipster shit like Ghostbusters. Films like Garfield are true art that often get misunderstood by filthy normies who watch nothing MCU kiddie movies and Star Wars instead of challenging, thought-provoking kino like Garfield and Garfield 2: A Tail of Two Kitties. my brother forced me to rewatch this please help 10/10

My “Garfield: The Movie” theatre experience is my favorite story of all time to tell. Picture it. Me: 8 years old. My theory is that in the scene where Garfield falls from like 10 stories and lands in a “lasagna truck” completely unscathed is actually where Garfield dies, the rest is just a hallucination or something. Think about it, everything after this point goes great for Garfield, he just so happens to catch a break and get into the train control office unnoticed because of a guard who walks out at the perfect time. Garfield also manages to stop all the trains right before they hit each other simply by smashing all the buttons, and then knows exactly which train Odie is on and knows exactly how to send it back to the station he’s at. Reasons why this movie is a better villain origin story than Joker (2019): • Bill Murray • Garfield doesn’t need the word joke in his name to be funny • has more iconic dancing scenes • uses powerpoint transitions • Joker whines about not fitting into society when Garfield is the only CGI animal in a movie full of real cat, dog, and mouse actors • Garfield sings a beautiful and cleverly written cover of “New York State of Mind” by Billy Joel titled “New Dog State of Mind” • Garfield almost commits mass murder • Uses very cool product placement for Wendy’s, Wal-Mart, Olive Garden, Petco, Goldfish, Samsung, Pepsi, Nike, and MORE!!!

Journee and Papa’s movie night We both enjoyed this movie. It was funny and had a good story. Recommend. Movie snacks were Valley Pop popcorn, Dearborn brand deli hunter sausages, Planters dry roasted peanuts and Barq’s root beer.

Not every movie you watch is going to be good. That was the case with the latest movie I watched which was Garfield the movie from 2004. This was actually a rewatch. I watched it because of an upcoming movie trivia match and this is a bad movie. There’s one redeemable thing in this movie and that’s the adventure aspect. Other than that, the puns and jokes are cringe and The acting isn’t good. Rating-1/5

had lotsa fun watching this when i watch movies with other people i am so surprised at how little they giggle. sometimes i genuinely have to supress myself and hold it in so I don’t look like an immature child. but i just feel like laughing at everything, because i find it deeply funny and endearing. is that such a problem? waiting for the day i sit on the couch with my husband and we giggle at the silliest jokes ever seen on screen. otherwise, I’m fine being the old cat lady (says me in a garfield review haha).

Garfield is honestly such a fun movie. I really enjoyed the story with Garfield trying to deal with Odie coming into his life while also trying to get rid of him, only for them to eventually become a proper duo. Garfield himself is hilarious and the way he acts like a normal person who just happens to be a cat makes so many scenes funny. Odie is great too, especially with how chaotic and innocent he is. I think we all know by this point that Bill Murray only voiced Garfield because he thought the Coen Brothers were writing it when in reality, it was written by Joel COHEN. I don’t hear anyone talk about the fact the late Lorenzo Music (Garfield’s first VA and the one who really brought a lot of charm and memorability to the character and the rather meh comics) also voiced Peter Venkman (Bill Murray’s Ghostbuster) in The Real Ghostbusters and lost the role after the second season because Murray complained he sounded too much like Garfield (he somehow never connected the dots).
