Tom Holland has officially solidified himself as the logo and trademark for unoriginal high-budget corporate garbage.

Aesthetically, this looked like if Tomb Raider was filmed like a Hallmark movie. That’s the only way I can express how awful this is on the eyes.

If Mark Wahlberg was there during the plane sequence, it wouldn’t have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that cabin and then him saying, “ok, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.”

It used to be that video game movies were bad because video games didn’t give movies enough to work with; say what you will about Annabel Jankel and Rocky Morton’s “Super Mario Bros.,” but they had to do something to flesh out a story that basically amounted to “Italian stereotype runs from left to right.” Nowadays, in an age when interactive epics are so vast and cinematic that Playstation characters are regularly played by movie stars (and sometimes even modeled to resemble major filmmakers), it seems that video game movies are bad because video games give movies way too much to work with. No big screen adaptation of “Uncharted” could ever hope to match the globe-trotting, rope-swinging, plane-exploding excitement of…

Watched this like twice with my dad, was good but can’t really remember it as it was a while ago, also was younger and didn’t analyse films like I do now.. loved Rudy Pankows five minutes of screen time

This movie has the least game accurate casting of all time but I really didnt hate it as much as I thought I would. The shot of the ship being a carbon copy of henry averys boat in a thiefs end was pretty cool.

nate drake 🤤 this movie was fun but the story felt like it was missing something

My love for the Uncharted game franchise was always going to make me like this film but I kinda wish they made it a tv series like The Last Of Us.

Great movie. The only thing that kinda felt weird is how everybody stabed eachother in the back.

A fun action romp that excels at what it’s trying to do. Unfortunately it doesn’t try to do anything more than cool action sequences and the bare minimum plot needed to create a movie.

I had been wanting to watch this movie for a bit. Glad I waited on it, but also glad it’s off the list. This just feels… average to me. Nothing about any performance feels spectacular here. If they didn’t call it uncharted I would not have known it was connected to the games. That’s how out of place Tom Holland feels in this role. But with him being a professional dancer, he does choreographed shots really well in this. The…

Sorry, tom. This is not your movie. Or anybodies movie. Its not good

it wasnt a bad movie and it was enjoyable to watch as an action film and to see tom holland’s face. i dont remember the game storyline enough to know if they adapted it correctly or if it was just inspired but i liked that tom put on the slutty holster towards the end also all i remembered from the game series was that his brother sam did return so i was lowkey waiting for that lol .. but ig…

I was just so disappointed by this movie. Maybe it’s because I expected it to be more like the game, or maybe my hopes were just too high but this did not deliver. It’s not awful it was just so boring.

as someone who LOVES the games grew up on them have 4 out of 5 titles physically (I’ll buy 4 soon)(i have played them all) they fked up soo much nathan is a cool guy with knowledge and didn’t fear shit they made him a Wimpy smart guy and don’t even start me with sully everything was wrong everything sully is a father figure with a touch of alfred not this guy UGH as a movie it’s 2 star but I wanna give it half as an adaptation

J’ai kiffer Tom Holland my goat

Let me be clear, I know nothing about the game or anything about anyone other than Tom Holland. But I fear I liked it I’m not even gonna hold you. So I come to this app to see what other people have to say about it Ohhhh so why does everyone hate it😭 Like I had a good time watching it!! I’m talking hootin and holllerrrringggg!!! And maybe it’s because my life’s whimsy increases 10 fold when Tom Holland…

Honestly a solid movie. I wasn’t too excited about watching it but decided to give it a chance and actually liked it. They changed some key story plot points but for the movie it works. If you’re a big fan of the games like me this isn’t going to ruin anything for you. This was handled much better than the last of us

the last time i watched this was when it was first released and i remembered absolutely nothing about this movie, it was great

I was a couple glasses of wine deep and maybe the fact that the 12 year old I was watching it with was convinced that Marky Mark was John Cena made this more funny than it actually was. I feel like the adventure wasn’t as cool as I was expecting. Anyway, it was decently fun PG 13 choice but I wouldn’t watch it again.

-
J
If you do not expect this to be really good and get past every unrealistic thing, this film is pretty enjoyable
