god is this movie TRASH. i tried watching it once before and had forgotten the degree to which i hate this…but Anne of a Thousand Days wasn’t streaming anywhere and i don’t own it and Six put me in a mood. all historical movies are a little fast and loose with the facts so i could forgive that if they didn’t make Anne such an evil bitch and Mary like a demure innocent. But all women are virgins or whores i guess! Man i love when there is overt misogyny in my costume dramas! of course, men ain’t shit. fuck henry. (costumes were nice)

filme meh com um elenco muito bom. mesmo sabendo que é uma adaptação de um romance histórico, é impossível de ignorar as imprecisões históricas ridículas se você for alguém que gosta da história Tudor. até mesmo ignorando tal fato, o filme tem uma passagem de tempo que deixa a narrativa confusa e muito corrida, como se quisessem colocar o máximo de enredo possível em menos de 2 horas de filme.
