I really like how this movie starts as a “normal” action movie about a group of hardened but lovable rogues on a rescue mission and then gets just completely upended by a freaky alien picking them off one by one. It starts as an action movie before melting away into a slasher and then finally returning to action as the Predator and Arnold shed any pretense and compete to see who has the biggest dick of the jungle. First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is a mountain. Hawkins’ wife is probably going to be heartbroken that her husband was killed in the jungle but it sounds like their genitals barely even fit together so maybe this could actually be a positive thing for her once she’s processed her grief.
