undeniably funny that this 160-minute half-movie about how the wicked witch of the west got her broom opens with voiceover saying “let me tell you the whole story.”

I LOVE MUSICAL THEATER CHARLIE I LOVE MUSICAL THEATEEEEEEEEERRRR My GOD did Defying Gravity give me chills. All the way through. Wonderful Honestly the songs and musical numbers are fantastic, especially the ones we all know are fantastic. Loathing, defying gravity, popular, you know the drill. All three gave me chills and a big ass smile all over my stupid face 🙂

The scene during the song “dancing through life” where fiyero is feeling everyone up and he slides the books off the table infront of the boy’s face with his foot and then holds the boy’s hand and then slides off the table all seductively with his ass front centre in the camera, lives rent free in my mind (It’s been like 2/3 years since I watched this movie and I still remember this scene vividly)

This just get’s better every time I watch it. Impeccable performances, beautiful music, cinematography, phenominal costume and production design. I just love musicals. Beautiful story about friendship. I would love to do a musical, if I could sing.

This one is a theater classic for me the way they presented the environment. The costumes the story. The timelines was amazing better than theater musical . Visualization is very much a big part of the story so having all that accurate visuals while maintaining the integrity of not using any animations or CGI is amazing it was presented very well, I am I was immersed with a story with a place with the people and the storyline is just…

The movie is okay? I genuinely dont understand the hype about Wicked. I have a feeling a lot of it has to do with Ariana Grande being in the Movie I will say, the songs in the first part are definitely better and much catchier, but the whole Glinda/Elphaba roles felt basic to me. You have the pretty, pink, blonde, a girl who craves attention, and then her reverse side: the hated, ,,black”, “emo” outsider who is misunderstood by everyone.…
