assim, eu certamente já vi vários fragmentos do filme no passado, mas acho que foi a primeira vez que vi de cabo a rabo efetivamente. tipo, a história principal é bonitinha, e o joe pesci e o capanga se fodendo é de fato engraçado, mas o que mais me chamou a atenção no filme certamente é o subplot do véio da pá, é algo simples mas tocante e algo que eu definitivamente não estava esperando num filme “bobinho” que nem esqueceram de mim. é um clássico, mais um que tava na lista faz tempo. I liked every second of it from the very beginning to the very end, 10/10 from me!! And this movie just feels like Christmas in a way so perfect to watch for the months leading up to December and in December! And the families all reuniting was so heartwarming!! I loved that part so much.

Did not watch anything today because this week i am watching and have watched the entirety of invincible and the penguin shows. So i am just gonna log stuff i have watched before. My favourite christmas movie of all time, no question about it. So good. I have probably watched this movie at least 15 times. Its perfection. Its just the feeling you get from watching it. Favourite scene by far for me is the conversation between the old man and kevin in the church.

This is strangely actually good. A lot of people rag on how this film destroyed John Hughes’ career, but it’s hard to explain how this film is actually better than all of those other ones. Maybe it’s the emotional character arc involving Old Man Marley, or maybe it’s just how much of an asshole everyone is. I don’t think I’ll ever know.
