This is probably one of my favourite movies, going from how smooth and beautiful the animation is, to how great the writing it and finishing it with an amazing story that hides beneath the overarching story. This is a movie that hold a very soft place in my heart. The parents gorging themselves which thus turns them into pigs, no-face being misunderstood, the idea of loss of identity and finding oneself. There are so many themes that this movie portrays, you can keep reaching and find more every time.

Oh my god. Spirited away is a beautiful movie. The animation was perfect as always, and the character design too. Also really liked chihiro as main character, but also liked most other characters. The soundtrack was beautiful but nothing worth of adding it to my playlist tbh. Spirited away was also very very creative. Provably the most creative ghibli movie ive seen yet. Many different character designs that were pretty recognizable. Ending was also pretty satisfying and made me happy. Not my favorite ghibli movie but still loved it.🫡

‧₊˚ 🍡 𖦹 🌸 ‧₊˚. “once you do something, you never forget. even if you can’t remember” 𖨂 🪷 ˖ ࣪◞ 💐 ° the animation is so beautifully distinct. i love how it perfectly merges 2d elements with 3d features — every curve is crafted with confidence, creating a stunning harmony that emerges you within the enchanting story. the colors are vivid yet remain just natural enough to seem realistic, making the tale feel even more special. the eccentric and imaginative characters are also very interesting, and although i was quite overwhelmed with the intertwining stories at some points, it was still a cool movie!

Rewatched this masterpiece yesterday on the big screen. It was very hard trying to keep my emotions in control when I was surrounded by people. This movie awakens so much in me. My dearest childhood memories, my inner child, it makes me feel loved and willing to love. Beautiful.

Mein sechster Miyazaki-Film und bisher ganz klar mein liebster. Chihiros Reise ins Zauberland hat mich komplett in seinen Bann gezogen. Diese besondere Atmosphäre, die wunderschöne Animation und dieses leicht melancholische Gefühl haben bei mir einfach genau den richtigen Nerv getroffen. Ich mochte einfach, wie sich der Film angefühlt hat. So fantasievoll und gleichzeitig irgendwie ruhig und warm. Dazu kommen so viele kleine Momente und Details, die ihn für mich unglaublich besonders machen. Bisher definitiv mein Favorit von Miyazaki. Ich bin wirklich froh, diesen Film endlich gesehen zu haben.
