look this film is mediocre and you could make an argument of why when it realistically shouldn’t, but you can’t pretend it’s not a fun movie to watch especially on first viewing if you saw it when it came out like I did.

oh wanda you deserve so much better because i can’t comprehend how in every universe she got her happy ending but this. beyond me.

The multiverse of midness. Raimi why, u don’t have to pick up every project. Maybe the gold touch is useless in a coal mine. Movie was lackluster, stupid villain and motivation. Too much multiverse bs with not an actual multiverse included just one other universe. They used the power of friendship at the end too. Just a messy movie with wasted cameos. Watched grimly with brothers

words cant explain how much i fucking despise this piss streak of a movie, everything about it ruined my week, the cgi was fucking terrible, it was the most random bullshit, benedict cumberbatch was fucking disgraced when they handed him this sloppy, horrendous, bullshit script. i would rather scratch my eyeballs with a fork for two hours and 6 minutes then sit in odeon and torture my eyes to the multiverse of misery and piss. anyway i turned it off after the first 5 minutes

Scarlett Witch literally massacres a sacred temple and kills almost everyone inside it but somehow dies earning Strange’s respect. End scene shows the temple being easily rebuilt with more replaceable and indistinct wizards (didn’t they all die?!). What a journey we’ve been on here. Like eating a forgettable meal and shitting it out 2 hours later.
-

The script is a little clunky and I don’t like how unserious strange is post infinity war. Same with Wong. He gives up the dark hold too fas. Wanda is OP here and I’m excited to see what happens with her after this. Honestly I think both her and strange r gonna be on team doom. Strange is a big problem in the MCU rn the illuminati was right, strange caused an incursion too which cannot be good at all…
-
G
The movie has some good or interesting ideas, like dream walking in the dead body, or I think that the music note fight was pretty cool. But Wanda was too senselessly overpowered, the character was completely ruined from WandaVision and the movie was full of potholes, but at least it was pretty fun to watch

Multiverse of Madness is Marvel finally letting Sam Raimi leave fingerprints all over the walls. Dead bodies, nightmare logic, possession, haunted imagery and reality folding in on itself — it feels like an actual director entered the MCU and decided the multiverse should be fucking unsettling. The problem is that the horror keeps getting interrupted by franchise obligations. Strange’s journey is about surrendering control, while Wanda’s is about grief becoming obsession. “You break the rules and become a hero. I…

Honestly a lot better than I remembered. When I watched this is theaters I lowk disliked the editing choices made. Now however, that shit is saucy af and the horror elements are so unique to MCU that I might need to beg on my knees for Raimi to direct Doctor Strange 3.

This movie isn’t bad, however I am gutted that they didn’t embrace the horror aspects from the evil dead in this movie 🤞 they actually do it for third film and they don’t fumble someone like sam rami and he actually is allowed to lean into the horror elements in future doctor strange movies.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” makes good use of Wanda’s arc from “WandaVision,” with Elizabeth Olsen standing out as the film’s villain. The visuals are mostly great, the action is inventive, and the horror elements work wonderfully. However, ironically for a film about magic, there isn’t a sense of wonder in the film; it all rather feels hollow. America Chavez never feels like a realized character. There are also some subplots that don’t go anywhere, and some moments that bend the film’s internal logic. Overall, it’s an entertaining MCU entry that mostly sticks the landing.

They don’t realize that they actually had one of the best villain ever But I had to laugh when I saw that Clark was back in this movie. I know he has another name in this Universe but he remains funny Doctor Strange should just stay in character. I lowkey wanna hear Wanda say no more mutants

Elizabeth Olsen never misses as Wanda Maximoff. She stole most of the scenes she was in and really helped keep the movie alive. With that being said, Sam Raimi does a fantastic job of bringing more horror elements to the MCU. The overall cast is brilliant, as are the Easter eggs. The only downfall is Wanda Maximoff’s evolution in WandaVision seems to be wiped away for the sake of having an entertaining villain. Overall, it’s a very well done and entertaining film.

Plot holes, CGI slop, comically bad shots and scenes, plot holes, more visual slop, worst trope ever in a superhero movie, awful camerawork at times, dull and repulsive visuals, CGI slop, power creep to the nth degree, more awful visuals, predictable plot, poor colour grading, horrid dialogue/ script, plot hol… How is this a finished product? How was this greenlit? This is pretty comfortably the worst Marvel movie I’ve seen yet. “America Chavez” might be the most nothing burger character ever.…
-
N
WANDA IS ALWAYS VAILD
-
C
Great horror (I hate horror), loved all the What If? references, and always appreciate Dr Strange’s grey morality. I don’t believe that Wanda destroying the mountain of the Dark hold etchings in one universe would destroy the Darkhold copies in every universe instantaneously, because doesn’t that location still exist in all the other universes, intact? They also didn’t make good use of America Chavez’s character. It didn’t really matter that she was there, and the fact that she couldn’t use…
-
F
They really introduced a girl who suddenly perfectly controlled her powers and then she never appeared again
-
S
I love the insane visuals in Doctor Strange movies, and this definitely filled the spot. Also, the multiverse is an extremely interesting subject and I’m glad they made an entire movie for it, although it wasn’t the best way to address it. The idea of dreams being other universes is super cool and I’m totally here for it! And Wanda, they could never make me hate you.

“dreams are windows into the lives of our multiversal selves” sanmıyorum yaaa.

This is /so/ much better on a rewatch holy shit. It was such an interesting but also devastating rewatch. Interesting in the sense of everything that happens with wanda post WV and even during WV, seeing how her story is happening and with what direction the MCU is going in right now but also devastating in the sense of literally the only thing that she wanted was to be with her boys 😭 Like yes she’s done bad things to try…

i’m really hoping whatever i saw that said wanda and strange will be doom’s henchmen is true because damn they’re both evil and awesome. the cgi definitely did get crazy at times but it’s marvel and the multiverse what am i gonna do about it. the plot being centered around america chavez and she’s brand new with no backstory is kinda wild, and i don’t really feel bad for strange either. and lowkey towards the end just like in wandavision you stop feeling bad for wanda too bc she lowkey took it tooo far. but i love how evil they made her.

A
It’s not as bad as people say it is but for “Madness” it’s more like that SpongeBob scene of them on a roller coaster. The MCU needed this movie to be the cameo slop it should have been this movie should have been about strange trying to stop mordo from killing all sorcerers across the multiverse or something The CGI in this movie is really bad at times Elisabeth Olson slays in this movie Live laugh Love Wong
-
V
interesting time? it was more fine than i thought itd be but the plot is simultaneously too much to be that coherent and entertaining and … not enough for a multiverse movie ??? i find it so incredibly funny how they made a woke avengers style team and then called them the illuminati. I know the illuminati is a comic thing but just. Think about it in this frame of refernce only. it is funny! Professor charles xavier sir patrick…

In a vacuum, this is a fun movie. Love the classic Sam Raimi-isms throughout the film. Love the campy horror elements. Story is okay, but it’s good for the movie. When you put the film within the MCU, my feelings change a bit. Not much, but a bit. The biggest thing is Wanda/ Scarlett Witch being the villain. And not just a villain, but a cold blooded, psychotic, murder happy loon. It’s completely nonsensical within overall her story arc. Wandavision…
