wonderful film but they had the choices to go to a BOAT party with JARED and a MASSEUSE where they’re giving out FREE IPADS, and the choice to go to a MURDER MYSTERY party where they get to ACT as COOL MISCELLANIOUS CHARACTERS with BACKSTORIES with music in the background that sounds straight out of THE GREAT GATSBY, and instead they desperately wanted to go to a plain old HOUSE PARTY with people that SHIT TALK THEM in school BATHROOMS. you have nothing to prove to anyone!! secure that gift bag, kiss jared and then go be an innocent farm girl new to the big city stumbling upon a cold blooded murder!!

What a fucking good high school comedy. And still modern too after all these years! Weirdly a triumph of Olivia Wilde’s. One day this’ll be like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off or any other John Hughes’ movie- a testament to the time it was created and a way to immortalize the teenage experience. Good movie!
