This documentary had me in tears, Megan is such a beautiful soul, hearing the way she expressed herself felt so genuine and heartbreaking, and hearing a reporter ask about the sexual relationship was fucking disgusting, and it shows how women are viewed and treated by the media. The things people say about Megan is so horrifying, and it’s crazy how Megan has been able to stay so strong throughout the whole thing. This woman has gone through so much. The documentary ending with cobra made so much sense and was beautiful ending. To all the hotties out there, you are loved❤️

Not what I expected, and I didn’t know the Tory case was gonna be such a central part of it. Kinda wish the doc dove into Meg more as a person outside of that. Didn’t feel like much of this documentary was concerned with her as a musician, and the other stuff that it covered is kinda public knowledge if you’re even a casual fan of her or follow hip hop news in general. Good for her though. Glad that she could use this to really process her trauma and I’m never gonna complain about dunking on Tory Lanez lol

my heart aches for how much she’s had to endure. i’m glad these days are behind her, but the memories are forever. the masses don’t reserve grace for Black women, especially when they’re confident, bold, and unashamed. this was hard to watch and we know it’s even harder for Megan to live through. i hope she carries on through life being loved & protected beyond measure. she truly is a blessed soul.

Another airplane watch. The beginning half was interesting. I liked seeing Megan and her mom. The 2nd part began to fall apart and was frankly, just really sad. I hate how bullied Megan has been. I felt really bad for her. In no world did this movie need to be 2 hours. In terms of celebrity documentaries, this one was mid, almost bad. The anime element was jarring to me, and subtracted from the filmmaking. I would have loved more b-roll of Megan’s world. Maybe they didn’t get many shoots with her. Felt sparse and over-extended. God bless Megan though.
