I enjoyed this show. Bucky is one of my favourite characters and I Ioved him in this. I was really interested in the storyline with John Walker. I do have some problems with it. I didn’t like the villain because she is pretty forgettable, and I also found some parts boring. I think it is kinda stretched out but it’s not that bad.

Honestly really solid story. It deals with themes of identity and, by all means, immigration. A lot if things that essentially make it a complicated political issue. Really loved the involvement that while the enemies are super soldiers, they’re people who want to fight for the people. It may have gone wrong in some ways but they had the best intentions. Solid. Very much enjoyed the storylines of Sam and Bucky dealing with their own issues and identity after Steve’s death. I’d say I thoroughly enjoyed this series, showing us what life was like after End Game. However, the one aspect I truly don’t like is the writing for Sharon Carter. She was such a beloved character in the MCU, especially for Captain America fans, and now she just does a full 180 and is a criminal mastermind… I mean, like come on. I don’t mess with that one bit. (7.1/10)

watched a while ago but i only just found out that you can rate shows and not just movies on here 😭 i LOVE this show. both sam and bucky are characterized so well here and i was so happy to see the mcu actually acknowledging racism its characters experience in-universe. this particular case felt very meta, like they were acknowledging how marvel fans themselves won’t accept a black man as captain america and this show tells them how wrong they are. if only they could give sam this much focus outside of this show…
