Pretty good film actually, I really enjoyed this one. People keep saying Andrew’s spider-man is uncharacteristic. It starts like that, sure.. but at some point, he do start acting like spider-man, he is spider-man. It also low-key has one of my favorite Spidey live action suit.

There’s a scene in this movie where Peter Parker goes to see Dr. Curt Connors for some help catching a giant lizard. (Connors IS the giant lizard, but Peter doesn’t know that yet because some science prodigies are also really stupid.) Connors is in a foul mood because he’s slowly becoming a 10-foot-tall hellbeast, and he tells Peter he doesn’t have time to help him with his problem. He’s got a “new project” he’s working on and he needs “to be alone.” “If you’ll excuse me,” Connors continues, “I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you to leave.” He holds the door of his office to let Peter out, but then Connors is the one who actually leaves. He…

Like at least in this one they made Spider-Man troll a cop but then Avi Arad still ruined it by managing to make Gwen’s Dad a cop.

A rewatch. This feels like this was the start of the camp era in the Spider-Man franchise. This was more comedic than the previous Spider-Man films, which what makes it enjoyable. Might be a biased take, but as someone who grew up with this superhero I will never find anything disappointing in these films.

-
B
It was ok. I’m writing this pretty late but this movie wasn’t too special so I forget pretty much all the details, but I wasn’t really blown away by it. The whole spiderman plot was getting pretty stale after watching the other movies in sequence before this one. The acting was pretty decent though.
-
E

This movie does a lot of things right the web slinging in this is great and I love Andrew’s Spider-Man so much like I genuinely think we’re 3/3 when it comes to live action Spider-Man I love all three equally. I also love the scene with the crane operators superhero movies need more scenes of civilians going out of their way to support the hero when they’re in dire straits. However, Peter’s parents being important is dumb I hate it…

When Toby Maguire said “ why can’t I have what I most want “ he basically foreshadowed the downfall of Spider-Man’s love life One of the best Clutches tho by Dr Connor’s in the end like gave off when Harry came to help Peter against sandman and venom I feel like Andrew Garfield is the saddest Spider-Man lot of emotion in this But genuinely tho loved this

A good spiderman story. Never understood the Peter Parker’s parents saga but I try to forget it. Perfect chemistry between Andrew and Emma , good (but a liiiiil bit questionable) adaptation of uncle Ben and aunt may , the best flash Thompson ever. Connors and lizard is just fine with some problems but still works for this film. I loved the tone of the movie and the practical effects. I loved the suit. I loved the different adaptation of Peter…

Skater Spider-man Nee idk this one didn’t hit as much for me. Very beautiful cgi and movie overall. Just the whole story was a bit too much too quick… And Gwen also threw me off a lot, but I am not familiar with official spider-man (or comic in general) storylines and characters so that might be a me-problem. Whole movie I was just waiting for MJ to pop up.
-
K
Andrew Garfield IS Spiderman and he embodies the role incredibly, but the overall plot is subpar and takes some of the charm out of the original story. If he was only bit because he stumbled into a room full of intentionally created mutant spiders than anyone could’ve been Spiderman, and the whole “meant to be in every universe” concept is fried. Although, I have to give kudos for the copious amount of swinging scenes. Probably more in this movie alone than all of Tom’s combined. They also nailed the combat style of the original comics, he actually moves and fights like a spider.
-
G
New beginnings. New Story. New Spider Man. Andrew Garfield is sleek and stylish in this new spiderman franchise. Story is good, emotions worked out well, Action blocks were great. A good start to new franchise.
-
A
Garfield is obviously great, and you can definitely feel the chemistry between him and his then girlfriend (?) Emma Stone. He doesn’t register to me as a nerdy loser, but he sure is weird and dorky in this. Not a fan of the suit (looks like a skier) and even if the effects are kinda better than the previous entries, there are no memorable flying scenes whatsoever (this will change with ASM 2) and the dark, high contrast visual style,…

Peter Parker/Spider-Man: You seriously think I’m a cop? Cop in a skin-tight red and blue suit? After I’ve recently watched the entire Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy. I thought that I should continue to watch the rest of the live action Spider-Man films for the week, Spider-Man Week if you will. And now, we have this film here. This was released on July 3, 2012, two months after the release of The Avengers (2012), and a few weeks before the release…

“Poor! Peter! Parker! no father!”
- Synopsis
- Peter Parker is an outcast high schooler abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
