Everybody gangsta till the horror movie is based on true events. Those people, the firemen, soldiers, coal miners and scientists are all heroes in my eyes. They saved the entire Europe, paying the ultimate price. We should have a day dedicated to them when we can honor their sacrifice. RIP all of you!

Great, quality show that if u haven’t watched already, pls do!! Brilliant performances throughout. They nailed the atmosphere, coupled with the score, and it was definitely emotional. Went from feeling extremely angry to disturbed and saddened. Well paced and subtly engaging too….Yea, this definitely lived up to expectations. Just crazy to think that this all actually happened, and its effects are still here today and will be for a LONG time…and the reasons behind where it all went wrong…VERY IRRITATING !! But nah, W show!

I truly believe one of the great pieces of media ever. No matter how many times I rewatch this it never fails to grip me and pull me in. The cinematography is haunting at times, the casting is near perfect and the storytelling is theatrical and enthralling. I rarely feel impacted the way I did with Chernobyl, it’s commentary on the human impact of political ignorance was a chilling theme throughout the watch. Even transcending politics it’s leaning towards addressing…

It pisses me off that this all could’ve been avoided if the Soviet Union said the truth and informed the nuclear industry about this huge fault in the system. Very interesting show, I had no idea how large of an impact Chernobyl could’ve had on the world and how it still affects us to this day Dyatlov needed ti be shot.

incredible. this is one of the most engaging and haunting things i have ever watched. i never truly understood the sheer scale and magnitude of the catastrophe but this manages to encapsulate the horrors of it masterfully. these are some of the bravest people in human history that prevented the loss of millions upon millions of lives. standard corruption and incompetence that caused this and there’s no punishment that is equal to what they have caused. this is a masterpiece.

the story of chernobyl has been my recent hyperfixation, and this story is truly devastating. it really shows how people in power are so ignorant. forcing workers to break the rule because he is of higher power than them, and other people of higher power denying what the workers had saw. that really pissed me off. the scary part about this is that it could happen again with one small mistake.

It stays away from cliches, flaws, or over-the-top stuff sometimes found in productions covering similar historical stories. Instead it focuses on quality and delivers a powerful message at the end.
